family photography on the Sunshine Coast
We’ll escape to somewhere open, wild, and free. Maybe a beach at sunrise, or a field at sunset. Somewhere your guards can fall, and little feet can explore.
And once we’re there? No plan is the best plan.
I’ll gently guide you through our time together- softly, intuitively, and only when needed. But I’ll never try to tame you, or hem you in.
I’m here to capture you. The way you are together, just as you are. Those small affections that’ve woven themselves into your lives.
Because one day these photos will be all you have left- of them, of now.
And you won’t come looking for pretty and posed; you’ll want something honest. Something beautiful because it’s true.
Photos that see beneath the surface, and hold onto what it felt like. To be happy. To be here.

Begin by reaching out through my contact form, sharing the vision that lives in your heart. This is where we begin to shape your vision into reality, setting the stage for a meaningful journey together.
If our paths align, you’ll receive a contract and invoice, along with a questionnaire. This will allow us to dive deep into your story and create a session that reflects your unique journey.
The big day has arrived & the motto of the day is ‘connection over perfection’ How you enter the space whether you're relaxed, connected, and fully present will speak volumes in your images.
After the session, your private gallery will be sent directly to you, inviting you to explore the moments we’ve captured. You can select your favourite images, or if each photo speaks to you, opt for the entire collection.
Allow these beautiful photographs to fill the walls of your home forever, you’ll have access to a professional printing lab with your gallery platform to turn these visual memoirs into stunning prints that honour you and your family’s story.
That’s okay. In fact, it’s expected. I don’t need them to pose or smile perfectly. The most beautiful images often come from the chaos - the real moments, the mess, the laughter, the clinging, the running, the in-between. Let them be themselves. I’ll take care of the rest.
What if my kids don’t cooperate?
There’s no ideal age. My sessions are about connection, not milestones. Whether your baby is just learning to crawl or your kids are loud, wild, and growing fast - what matters most is capturing the energy of your family as you are right now.
What age is best for a family session?
I don’t offer extended family sessions. My work is intentionally focused on the immediate family unit—where the connection runs deepest and the energy can stay slow, intimate, and present. If you’re wanting to include grandparents or extended relatives, I recommend seeking a photographer who specialises in larger group dynamics.
Do you offer extended family sessions?
You’ll receive a full prep and styling guide when you book, and I offer an extensive client wardrobe for mothers, with a small range of pieces for children. Most families visit me before their session to try things on and choose what feels good. I usually start with what mum is wearing and build the rest of the outfits around that so everything flows naturally and nothing feels over-styled. Earthy, neutral tones always photograph beautifully in the locations I shoot.
What should we wear?
As soon as you know you want one - especially if you’re hoping for a weekend or golden hour. My calendar tends to book out a few months in advance. These sessions are for any season of life - there’s no “right” time, just the one that feels right for you.
When should I book my family session?
Family sessions can happen wherever feels most like you - the beach, the countryside, a hired studio, or even your own backyard. We’ll choose a location that matches your family’s energy and the feeling you want to hold onto.
Where do family sessions take place?
Not in the traditional sense. I’ll guide you gently into moments, offer soft direction when it’s needed, and then step back to let the real connection unfold. The goal isn’t perfection - it’s presence. These images are about feeling, not performance.
