And Love Fiercely
Raw, unpolished, and achingly beautiful. These are the pieces of life you never knew you’d miss until they’re gone. It’s the sound of their laughter echoing in the quiet. The tiny hands tugging at your shirt, grounding you in the chaos. The way the sunlight catches their hair as they turn to you, unaware of how deeply they’re loved. These are the moments that slip through your fingers like sand but leave their imprint behind. The ones you’ll reach for when the house feels too quiet, when time has done its quiet work of softening the edges.
Because one day, when you close your eyes, you won’t just want to remember what it looked like.
You’ll want to remember what it felt like. The love, the mess, the magic of your story unfolding.
For those that feel deeply
My lived experience as a mother has taught me many things but the one thing that always stood out to me is that motherhood can rarely be explained by mere words, it's something that is felt to the core of your soul, to understand it you must live it, breathe it & be utterly consumed by it to understand what it means to be a mother.
Have you ever just glanced across the room & met the gaze of another mother, in that split second your eyes meet you have this feeling rush over you of deep understanding, connected by the journey we take from maiden to mothers, connected in our sacrifices of our former selves & the promises to our children to be better versions of ourselves for them.
Every emotion ever known to the human race is felt by a mother & sometimes all at once in a single moment.
